This is a competition to find the best singing voices in Dallas. 15 Preliminary events will take place starting the first week in June. Two Elimination Rounds will narrow the field to 24, who would move on to the Semi-Finals. Semi-Finals would be held in July at the Round-up Saloon. The competition would narrow the competition to 12 at this level. Finals would be in August at the Rose Room and would have the 12 finalists compete. It is open to all live vocalists. It will be open to persons who perform live professionally and only exclude those who are currently making a living as a singer. It does not exclude those who have performed professionally in the past. It only excludes those who currently earn their living by singing. The top five finalists win cash prizes and the winner gets $3,000 plus a trip for two to Hawaii courtesy of Delta Airlines and Orbitz Gay Travel.
